The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has signed a joint grant with the Government of Canada and United Nations Development Program Supporting Elections for Ethiopia’s Democracy Strengthening (SEEDS) Project. The signing ceremony was attended by election board members Bezuwork Ketete and Dr. Abera Degefa.

As part of the organizational restructuring, the National Election Board is reorganizing its head office as well as regional branch offices in all regions. Part of the reform includes hiring competent heads for its offices in Amhara, Harari, Benishangul Gumuz, and Dire Dawa regions.
