The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia has received 22 vehicles donated by the European Union and the German government

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), on February 25, 2021, received 22 cars donated jointly by the European Union and the German government. The handover ceremony was attended by the Board's chairwoman, Birtukan Mideksa, and included 12 hardtop and 10 pickup trucks. The Chairwoman expressed her gratitude for the support provided by the Board for its logistics activities. The Board emphasizes the need for support from both the government and the European Union; therefore the board is grateful for such support.

On February 16, NEBE presented reports on the 6th general election voters’ registration and related events to political parties in the presence of the mass media. The report is based on three agendas, and the Board’s Voters’ Education department staff presented the report on the pre-election and post-election information delivery/provision process. The Board’s Operation Department staff also presented detailed information regarding the operation and logistics flow and the challenges that might be encountered when the Board opens different departments.

A call from the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia to media houses that want to cover the 6th General Election

To all parties that are required to complete the legal registration and hold general assembly by January 30, 2013/February 7/2021

When the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia conducted the registration process of political parties, it will be recalled that there were parties that were required to hold a general meeting and submit [the report] until February 7 2021 in accordance with Electoral, Registration of Political Parties and Electoral Code of Conduct No. 1162/2019 and Directive No. 3.
