NEBE orchestrated an intensive training program on electoral debate for politicians hailing from various political parties in collaboration with the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD).

This training aims at strengthening the capacity of political parties as part of a process of enhancing their debating skills to showcasing their respective manifestos to the voters duly.

The National Election Board of Ethiopia recently held a workshop focused on preparing the annual plan for the 2018 budget year and the election plan for the upcoming 7th General Election. The workshop was attended by the Board's management, along with department heads from both central and regional branch offices.

The training, which will take place from February 10 to 21, 2017, is designed for experts from various departments within the Board. It will focus on equipping participants with a deeper understanding of how election-related information resources are collected, organized, and safeguarded.

The National Election Board of Ethiopia gathered valuable input on proposed amendments to the Ethiopian Electoral, Political Parties Registration and Electoral Code of Conduct No. 1162/2019 through discussions with political party and media leaders during two rounds of a two-day program. This initiative was aimed at amending the proclamation used for the last 6 years.
