The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has signed a joint grant with the Government of Canada and United Nations Development Program Supporting Elections for Ethiopia’s Democracy Strengthening (SEEDS) Project. The signing ceremony was attended by election board members Bezuwork Ketete and Dr. Abera Degefa.

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has issued a certificate to all referendum polling executives. We would like to inform that executives can collected their certificates from the Board’s training center located at Saris during office hours.

As part of the organizational restructuring, the National Election Board is reorganizing its head office as well as regional branch offices in all regions. Part of the reform includes hiring competent heads for its offices in Amhara, Harari, Benishangul Gumuz, and Dire Dawa regions.
Insufficient number applications were received to the vacancy announcement that was issued repeatedly. Due to the lack of qualified bidders, the following applicants are eligible to apply until December 25, 2019.
Executives who have worked in the Sidama referendum as executive, and who meet the criteria set by the Addis Ababa Public Service are welcome to register at the Board's Training Center in Saris on November 27 and 28, 2019. Applicants should bring the following:
1.Your executive badge,
2. Your academic credentials showing that you graduated in 2017 and 2018, and
3. ID showing you are a resident of Addis Ababa
