The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) and its secretariat had a constructive meeting with the United Nations Needs Assessment Mission (NAM) for electoral assistance yesterday, July 14, 2022.

The purpose of the Needs Assessment Mission (NAM) is to evaluate the political and electoral environment in the country, the legal and institutional framework governing the electoral process, the capacity and needs of the various election stakeholders as well as to develop recommendations on the possibilities of electoral assistance in accordance with the request of NEBE.

The mission met with electoral stakeholders including political parties, Civil Society Organizations, and media representatives.
