Updates on the Fund Distribution for the Political Parties
It is to be recalled that the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has set criteria and consulted with political parties for the distribution of funds from the government to political parties. Accordingly, as stated in the directive, the funds are:
- Divided among equally accredited parties
- Divided on the bases of the number of candidates nominated by the party
- Divided on the bases of the number of female candidates nominated by the party
- Divided on the bases of the number of candidates who live with disability nominated by the party
- Divided on the bases of the number of female candidates.
