Voter registration period for students of higher education institutions extended

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has announced that voter registration for higher education institutions will be done online and the registration has been underway accordingly. The Board has decided that additional registration time should be given to students of higher education institutions, despite the completion of voter registration at each polling station. Accordingly, we encourage students of higher education institutions to register by May 25, 2021 at https://www.ovrs.gov.et using the registration link.

We also ask political parties, the media, and higher education institutions to cooperate in making this online registration possible.
