Inventory Control Expert (Re-Advertizing)
ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its’ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Inventory Control Expert position who meet the following requirements.

Job Summary
Inventory Control Expert is responsible to provide any transactional document for Internal & external auditors whenever requested.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies aligned with organizational goals and financial objectives.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to optimize asset performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose strategic solutions.
- Evaluate potential acquisitions, conducting financial assessments, risk analyses, and due diligence.
- Assist in planning and executing asset disposals, ensuring optimal returns on investment and adherence to regulations.
- Oversee the accurate and up-to-date recording of asset data, including acquisitions, disposals, and maintenance activities.
- Establish protocols for regular audits and reconciliations of asset data to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with departments to establish maintenance schedules, monitor asset conditions, and plan for replacements or upgrades.
- Implement lifecycle management strategies to maximize asset value and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure assets comply with relevant regulations, standards, and legal requirements.
- Implement risk management practices to safeguard assets and mitigate potential losses.
- Conduct financial analyses related to asset performance, depreciation, and cost-benefit assessments.
- Prepare reports and recommendations based on financial analyses for management review.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring quality services and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and warranties related to asset management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of asset-related activities, decisions, and policies.
- Prepare regular reports on asset utilization, performance, and financial implications for management and stakeholders.
Specification:
Education and Work Experience:
- 7 years for Bachelor | 5 years for Masters in supply Chain management or accounting field.
Training
- Team leadership, change management, Human resource management
Knowledge:
-
- Knowledge of people aspect of Change management methodologies, approaches and models
- Supply Chain & logistics concepts and application (Ethiopian Labour Law and employment related regulations, Property administration Policies, procedures, modern practices, approaches and trends)
- Shall have the knowledge of IF-MIS & EREP Software training.
