It is known that the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has held its 6th general election in most parts of the country, and in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, the Board has set a timetable for the elections.
Following the National Emergency Proclamation prepared by the Council of Ministers and approved by the House of Peoples' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) yesterday, November 04, 2021, the Board would like to announce that it has suspended the calendar and preparations for the polling planned to be held in the Benishangul Gumuz region.
