National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) presented reports to the political parties regarding the registration of candidates and related election events on the 6th National Election in the presence of the media on February 23, 2021. The report was presented by a member of the Board of Elections of the Board, and it emphasized on three agendas: the information provision process during the pre-election, election, and post-election periods. Details of the operation and logistical flow encountered during the opening of various constituencies were provided by the Board's Operations Officer.

What the overall process looks like and what is expected from stakeholders is presented by the Board's Chairwoman Birtukan Mideksa. In her speech, Birtukan said that the logistics activities and executives are moving from one polling station to other polling station in a timely manner noting that the regional states government have not provided the required number of transport vehicles to carry out their work and this will have a negative impact on the overall implementation process. She urged the government and the political parties to fulfill their responsibilities in a timely manner, as it is important for the overall election process and the timeline. In her speech, she emphasized much on stakeholder responsibilities underlying the fact that election shall be fall on the shoulders of the board.

Digitizing the Board is one of the major activities being carried out for the 6th National Election. Information on the use of information technology and incidents during the registration of candidates was presented by a member of the Information Technology Department of the Board. Following the reports, the forum was opened to participants. The political parties appreciated the Board for the timely delivery of activities planned and for entertaining the thoughts and opinions of political parties turn by turn. They further pointed out the details of the problems they encountered during the registration of candidates. The chairwoman responded to the participants' comments in two rounds while it has been noted that, the problems stated by the Political parties are valuable to the board to be aware of the work process and the gaps in the board. The chairwoman answered questions that could be answered at the forum and she asserted that the questions should not be limited only to this forum, but such forums will be prepared in a short period of time and continually where more questions will be addressed.
