Members of the Board of Directors of the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia and the board's staffs attend the presidential election process in Ghana

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia`s team led by Fikre Gebrehiwot, a member of the NEBE`s Board of Directors, monitored Ghana`s presidential election process, polling day activities, and the voting process to prevent the outbreak of Covid 19.

During their four-day stay, they visited the activities done to the conduct of the election by preventing the Covid 19, the procedures of the Electoral Commission, the counting, addition and announcement of results at the constituencies, and they also met with the leadership of the Ghana Electoral Commission. In addition to observing the election, the National Electoral Board delegates learned from Ghana's election experience about the budget and logistical arrangements needed to conduct the election, especially in the face of the Covid pandemic epidemic.

Ghana`s presidential election was held on Monday, December 7, 2020.
